Eli Fishman is a sports broadcaster and content creator, currently serving as the Broadcasting and Media Relations Assistant for the Somerset Patriots, New York Yankees Double-A affiliate. 

A junior sports media student at Ithaca College, Eli works as an anchor and play-by-play broadcaster for Ithaca College Television (ICTV) and as a radio host and play-by-play broadcaster for 91.7 FM WICB Radio. He has called games for Ithaca Bomber field hockey, volleyball, basketball, lacrosse, soccer, baseball, and softball on the South Hill.

Across town on the East Hill, Eli works for Cornell University as a play-by-play broadcaster for Big Red field hockey and volleyball on ESPN+.

While working on a freelance basis, he has called games for numerous local colleges, including serving as the voice of Alfred University football in 2023, and filling in for baseball and basketball broadcasts at Stevens Institute of Technology.

Before he turned 18, Eli gained notoriety as a go-to source for information on the New York Yankees farm system, serving as a contributor to YES Network and Pinstriped prospects. 

His breaking news reports and original content have been featured on ESPN, MLB Network, Bleacher Report, CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated, The New York Post, Barstool Sports, and more.

Eli’s ambition to become a professional sportscaster began at an early age. The YouTube channel he launched at 11 years old has racked up over 8,600 subscribers and received over two million views. In addition to highlights and commentary, his channel features many of the 500+ interviews he’s conducted with professional baseball players, coaches, and other notables in sports including stars such as Tim Tebow, Reggie Jackson, Bo Bichette, Goose Gossage, Pete Alonso, and CC Sabathia. 

Eli served as the sports editor for his high school paper, The Columbian during the 2020-21 school year, and covered his high school football team for TAPinto Newspaper in the fall of 2020. He has also contributed to sports websites such as Prospects 1500, Double G Sports, Last Word On Baseball, In The Zone, and Patch. 

In 2018, 2019, and 2021, Eli was the play-by-play broadcaster for the Jersey Pilots of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League, and called the teams 20 home games. In 2021, at the age of 17, he was selected to call the annual ACBL All-Star Game at FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood, NJ.
